Slow performance of outlook 2007 depends on many factors. If your hardware configuration is very good but your operating system is slow then it will decrease the performance of outlook 2007. Sometimes antivirus program might decrease the performance of outlook 2007. If any other execution is running in background like virus scanning, downloading etc. then it can also decrease the performance and can slow outlook 2007. If there is outlook 2007 error; it can also slow your outlook performance. Here is given some trick. Apply them and sure it will increase the performance.
• Disable the RSS Feed from outlook 2007.
• Disable Add-Ins from outlook 2007, which is no longer use.
• Reduce the size of PST folder.
• Open outlook in safe mode.
Disable RSS Feed from outlook 2007.
If you don’t use RSS Feed, then it is best idea to remove them. To remove the RSS Feed goto
Tools Account Settings RSS Feeds and click the Remove button.
Disable Add-Ins from outlook 2007, which is no longer use.
To Remove the Add-Ins goto Tools Trust Center and click the Add-ins tab. Click GO button which appears at the bottom of the dialog screen and uncheck the Outlook Add-ins (such as Mindjet Mindmanager, Acrobat PDF Maker, iTunes Add-in, Google Desktop etc). Make sure that do not disable the Windows search Indexing addin.
Reduce the size of PST folder.
Remove the unwanted email which includes large attachment.
Open outlook in safe mode.
You can also start your outlook 2007 in safe mode. To do that goto “start Run and type outlook /safe” it will stop entire email rules and filters and makes your outlook faster.
If all of them are not working then try to pst repair tool. It is available on the internet. Search this tool in the Google, download the tool and fix outlook 2007 error.
